Web Search in SkyStudio Chat and Assistants

Web Search, one of the newest features introduced to the SkyStudio platform, takes the user experience one step further. You can now search the web directly from the chat interface and easily access the latest information.

What Is Web Search and How Is It Used?​

Web Search is a feature that allows users to search the internet directly from the chat window. Enter the term or question you want to search for and click the Search button. The system then searches relevant websites on your behalf.

With this feature, you can:

  • Instantly view summarized information from web searches
  • Compare information gathered from different websites
  • Open relevant links to access the original sources directly

How Is It Used?​

  1. Start a new chat.
  2. Click the Search button and enter your prompt.
  3. Read the summarized response and visit the referenced websites for more detailed information when needed.

Adding Web Search to Assistants​

This feature is not limited to the chat interface. You can also integrate Web Search into your assistants.

How is it done?

  1. Create a new assistant or select an existing assistant and click Edit.
  2. Open the Tools tab.
  3. Add the Web Search tool and save your changes.

After completing these steps, your assistant will automatically search the web when it receives questions that require current information and summarize the findings for you.

This means you no longer need to perform manual searches to keep up with the latest developments.
